Description

One of the programs within the Human Animal Bond nonprofit is the Hearts of Gold Service Dog training program to train and place service dogs with veterans.  The program is in conjunction with the Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design. Volunteers are needed to provide infrastructure support to the Hearts of Gold Dog Training Facility. It is located at the WVU Animal Science Research, Education and Outreach Center at 1400 Stewartstown Rd. We have been renovating the building. WVU is scheduled to host an event at the facility on October 14th.  We need volunteers to move furniture, put some finishing touches on cleaning, wash windows, do some weeding and outside grounds maintenance, and overall ready the building for the event. Closed toe shoes are required. Supplies will be provided.  Human Animal Bond will also provide a late lunch toward the end of the event.
