Friends of West Virginia University Hospitals will be selecting three individuals for the Musket Mascot Scholarship Award for the 2025 - 2026 school year. The Musket Mascots will each receive a $ 1,500.00 scholarship award (proceeds subject to tax reporting).
Chosen candidates are expected to perform as Musket and to assist as a handler for Musket at WVU Medicine Children's Hospital and events. The handler is responsible for helping to put the costume on and remove the costume, helping performer see where they are going, and keeping crowds from overwhelming the performer.
Must be available for visits to Children's Hospital on any of the following days and times:
Mondays 8:30am-10:30am
Tuesdays 9:30am-11:30am
Wednesdays 8:30am-10:30am
Thursdays 8:30am-10:30am
Fridays 9:30am-10:30am
