Volunteer for the Deckers Dash 5K Race
Friends of Deckers Creek is searching for volunteers to help with the Deckers Dash 5k Race; we need help with setup, registration, water stops, and tear down.
Event Information
Taking place on September 15nd, 2019 at Marilla Park, the Deckers Dash 5k will allow participants to unwind along the banks of Deckers Creek.
Participants will run an out-and-back 5K from Marilla Park to Hazel Ruby McQuain Waterfront Park and Pavilion. Upon return, an awards ceremony will feature the top three male and female winners of the race, and following that, additional attractions and activities will be available, including a Trout Trot kids race, bounce house, food trucks, and face painting.
Volunteer Schedule:
- Setup - 8:30 am - 10:00 am
- Registration and Race Packet Pickup -9:00 am - 9:50 am
- 5K Start, awards ceremony to follow - 10:00 am
- Refreshments, yoga, kids activities, and more - 11:00 am - 12:30 pm
- Trout Trot - 11:30 am
- Tear down - 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm
