As a part of Day-to-Serve's 2018 initiative, Friends of Deckers Creek will be holding a watershed cleanup on Saturday, Sept. 29 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The cleanup will kickoff at the Outdoor Learning Park, which is located behind the Kroger in Sabraton in Morgantown.
Volunteers will receive supplies, instructions, and sign liability waivers at the Outdoor Learning Park, and then they will disperse to different sites in the watershed to begin cleanup. FODC representatives will provide directions and carpool to sites if needed.
Volunteers should make sure to wear warm clothes (potentially layers), including long pants and long sleeves. Volunteers should also wear sturdy, non-slip shoes, like work boots and sneakers.
