Get your hands dirty while helping to paint a mural at the Morgantown waterfront!
On Saturday, August 27th and Sunday, August 28th, Friends of Deckers Creek is searching for volunteers to help paint a mural at Hazel Ruby McQuain Waterfront Park and Pavilion (an easy walk from the Downtown Campus).
We can use the help of volunteers at ALL skill levels, from skilled art students to individuals with little to no artistic talent.
We will be looking for volunteers for either or both days, and will have two volunteer shifts: 9am to 12pm, and 12:30pm to 5pm. If you can only work part of one of the time slots, still do not hesitate to sign up, and email us at the address below to let us know when you can work. If you can work both time slots, even better (but not required).
Any volunteer that can stay all day, 9am to 5pm, will be provided pizza for lunch. Have fun and easily fulfill volunteer hours!
