On April 21st, 2016 LVMPC will be helping sponsoring a lecture by WVU's Dr. Kirk Hazen about the history of Appalachian dialects and how they affect writing styles. We would love any help setting up and attending the lecture as we are having a small film crew come and film the lecture for an upcoming documentary about Appalachian stereotypes. This lecture will happen from 6:00PM until 7:00PM at the Mountainliar's Greenbreir room. LVMPC will need some help setting up and need volunteers to arrive 30 minutes early, 5:30PM, to prepare the event, and about 30 minutes, 7:30PM, after the event to help clean up.
