This year, the Monongalia County SWA started a Community Paint Reuse Program. The Community Paint Reuse Program collects latex paint from residents and screens it, to make sure it can be reused, and then provides it for free to residents, non-profits or other organizations wanting paint for beautification projects.
This is our second Paint Pick Up Event this year where residents can stop by and check out the available reusable latex paint and take it home for free.
Due to the location we need volunteers to help with directing residents to the paint pick up area and helping set up and break down after the event. Volunteers do not have to work with paint but we might need help loading the truck if there is a lot leftover.
Not only will snacks and beverages be provided but lunch too! And, SABO Coffee Roasters will have their table set up to provide free samples and some of their coffee to purchase. A percentage of proceeds go to the WVU Children's Hospital in partnership with Sam's Club.
