Join us for an afternoon to clean up our trails and streams at WVU Falling Run!
Every spring, WV's DEP (Department of Environmental Protection) hosts the WV Make It Shine program, aimed at making West Virginia the cleanest state in the nation.
To get to this goal,WV's DEP provides our volunteers with free gloves, plastic bags and haulage for small and large items.
Restoring natural habitat is one of our most rewarding missions at Falling Run. You get hands on experience while reconnecting with your natural environment. It's physical work, but good exercise. And it's much appreciated by Falling Run visitors and the native wildlife.
Free snacks and drinks. Bring a friend if you can.
