Event: February 2-3, 2024, West Virginia University Mountainlair
WVU is partnering with NETL-Morgantown to host the 2024 West Virginia Regional Science Bowl on Friday and Saturday, February 2-3, 2024 at the WVU Mountainlair. The WVSB is a regional qualifying event supporting the U.S. Department of Energy's National Science Bowl program, which is a quiz-style math and science competition open to high school and middle school students nationwide. More than 200 WV middle and high school youth will attend the two-day competition.
We are looking for volunteers to serve as scorekeepers, score runners, or timekeepers during the quiz competitions, to assist with hands-on activities, or general needs like registration, setup, etc. Work can be done in shifts on one or both days of the event.
