Our Holiday Toy & Food Distribution Day is December 14, 2023 at the Armory!! We would love to have you join us! Listed below are the volunteer roles needed to make this successful.
Registration volunteers are needed to sit at the desks and verify names & number of children they are given from the toy runners. They will then relay this information to the bag pullers.
Bag pullers are volunteers who will locate the children's gift bag(s) for pickup and provide these to the toy runners. Bag pullers must be able to repetitively carry loads of more than 50lbs throughout their shift.
Toy runners are the volunteers who work directly with the pickup person. They will get their name, come inside and give it to the registration desk. The bag(s) will be given to the toy runner for delivery to the pickup person. Please note this job is primarily outside and is working in rain, snow or shine so please dress accordingly. Toy runners must be able to repetitively carry loads of more than 50lbs throughout their shift.
Traffic Control volunteers will keep the flow of traffic going to avoid congestion and gridlock. Please note this job is primarily outside and is working in rain, snow or shine so please dress accordingly.
