The Pi Day 3.14 Miler is a 5k run/walk in Downtown Morgantown on the Mon River Rail Trail (starting behind Reynold's Hall) on Saturday, April 1, 2022. The options for registration will include online or race day registration. We encourage participants to complete the online early bird registration ($10), which has a deadline of 2 weeks before race day, March 18, 2022. Online general registration will be $15 and will close on March 31, 2022, and all race day registration will be $20. This fee will include the admission/participation fee. The start of the race will be signaled at 9 AM!
Half of the profits accumulated from the run will go towards the budget of WVU's Math Club to help support and expand the passion and appreciation for mathematics across WVU!
The other half of the profits will be donated to the local Empty Bowls Organization in Monongalia County. This non-profit organization provides support for individuals and families threatened by food insecurity and we hope to join their efforts and positive change in the community!
