The WVU Libraries' third annual "Amplifying Appalachia" Art + Feminism Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon will be taking place during the entire month of March. In addition to being able to edit pages whenever you like during March, we will also hold an in-person editing event on Thursday, March 30 from 1-5 p.m. on the second floor of the Downtown Library!
Over the last two years, we’ve had over 140 editors participate. Together, we’ve added over 41,000 words and over 400 references, improving the quality of Wikipedia pages about under-represented Appalachian creators and related topics.
