In preparation for our Art Gallery, WVU PAWS members can sign up to create All About the Artist cards to be displayed in front of canvases and tote bags prepared the day prior. This is an online volunteer opportunity. Any official PAWS member can sign up for this opportunity.
On Saturday, December 3, WVU PAWS will prepare canvases and tote bags designed with painted shelter dog and cat paws at Marion County Humane Society. This is a separate event. As soon as possible, PAWS officers will distribute headshots of each shelter dog and cat participating in this event to the volunteers. The cards must be emailed to wvupaws@gmail.com by 11:59PM on Sunday, December 4. This ensures final preparation for the Art Gallery occurring on Monday, December 5.
Requirements for card:
- Must be designed in a 16:9 ratio (i.e., 1920 x 1080 pixels like a Powerpoint presentation)
- Must include photo of animal on left side of card
- Must include information regarding animal on right side of card
- The following information about each animal will be sent out with headshots: name, age, breed, description, and contact info for MCHS
- Colors, fonts, and other designs are up to the volunteer, but the overall card must be legible and neat
Completion of one card = One (1) event point (Completion of three cards = 3 points)
