WVU Athletic Operations is seeking students to assist in game play support for the first round of the NCAA tournament featuring the WVU Mountaineers and the Virginia Tech Hokies. The match will occur at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium and begin at 1:00pm. Please arrive no later than 12:40pm.
Volunteers will retrieve balls that are kicked out of bounds and return them to the field and provide additional setup and tear down as needed. This is a great way to be close to the action and show your support for the Mountaineers, while also gaining volunteer experience.
Dress
- Athletic pants or shorts
- Neutral color athletic top
- Coats/hats/gloves are acceptable during cold weather or rainy games
- Comfortable tennis shoes (you will be standing/walking for 45 minute halves)
