Have you ever heard of the fun-filled day of excitement known as Bridge Day? Do you want to know what is just as exciting? The clean up afterwards! Michael Criste, a WVU alumnus and former Adventure WV leader, has reached out to us and asked for help in promoting the Post-Bridge Day Clean Up that will be led by his non-profit, Flag Spruce Initiative, following the day’s festivities.
Knowing this to be a great opportunity we of course said yes and are now looking to spread the word to you all in the hopes of bolstering their cleanup crew numbers.
Cleanup Time: 3-5pm on Saturday, Oct. 15th, 2022
Location: Bridge Day, New River Gorge Bridge
Organization: Flag Spruce Initiative
What to bring: Weather-appropriate clothing that you are comfortable getting dirty; work-gloves if you choose, but non latex gloves will be provide; water and snacks will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own.
