Description

Looking for a place to earn observation hours for a clinical placement? Interested in how professionals support the individualized needs of diverse families? Want to see the innerworkings of an interdisciplinary team? Looking for an in-person learning experience with feeding and swallowing?

We welcome students to observe our Feeding and Swallowing Clinic. In fact, we have multiple students involved in clinic each week. Students here at Feeding Clinic represent a variety of majors including speech pathology, social work, nutrition, occupational therapy, physical therapy, medicine, pharmacy, law, education, counseling, nursing, psychology, and early intervention. During clinic, licensed mentors from SLP, OT, Psych, Social Work, Law, and Dietetics work together as a team to provide feeding assessments and needs assessments.

If you are interested in observing at Feeding Clinic, you will need to complete a registration form, HIPAA training, and Media Consent Form. Once you register via iServe, we will make the required documentation available to you.
