We will clear brush and build a new section of trail at the Toms Run Preserve a few miles south of Morgantown, from 10am to 3pm. Information about the Toms Run Preserve is available here.
Wear a long-sleeved shirt, long pants (jeans are much better than yoga pants for the type of work that we'll be doing), and boots. Gloves will be provided but feel free to bring a pair if you own them (heavy gloves are better than light gloves).
Bring lunch and water, and whatever you will need for a few hours in the woods.
We will meet at the Toms Run Preserve parking lot, here, at 10am, and then walk the short distance to the new trail.
Directions to the Toms Run Preserve: From Morgantown: On I-79 south, take the Goshen Road exit (first exit in I-79 south of Morgantown), turn right off the exit onto Goshen Road, left on Smithtown Road, and an immediate right on Little Falls Road. Take Little Falls Road 0.4 miles and look for the Toms Run Preserve sign on your right.
