Once again it’s time for a Half Marathon of Trailwork—13.1 Hours— at Coopers Rock, wherein trailwork volunteers are surrounded by changing Autumn leaves and fueled by chocolate! This annual weekend provides an Open House of over a dozen hours of trailwork and tree-planting at various sites in Coopers Rock. Saturday 9-5 & Sunday 12-5:06. Work will consist of maintenance and improvements of drainage features, trail surface improvements, and tree-planting in the Overlook Picnic Area. Tools, gloves, instructions and candy provided to all volunteers. Meeting Place each day: Day Use Parking Lot just 30 seconds from I-68 Exit. Center of parking lot at picnic tables. LATECOMERS: look for map and instructions on how to find us posted on kiosks in that parking lot.
