Description

We will plant seedlings along a gas line right-of-way to restore the native forest at the Toms Run Preserve located six miles south of Morgantown.

The Preserve is located here.

All of the necessary planting equipment will be provided but volunteers will need to be dressed in long pants and long-sleeve shirts, and have good, comfortable boots and gloves. Bring lunch and water, and other personal items such as sun-screen and insect repellent if needed.

All participants need to RSVP to Nathan@wvlandtrust.org (cell is 304-906-7470). The number will allow us to better plan for the required seedlings, tubes, stakes, and associated planting equipment.

Current CDC COVID safety protocols must be followed and will be determined based on the nature of the volunteer work. Please be prepared and bring a mask.
