Join the West Virginia Clinical and Translational Science Institute for a special event on Thursday, October 29, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. discussing COVID-19 policy and public health and cutting edge research in West Virginia.

The event will be divided into two segments. The first segment will begin at 11 a.m. focusing on policy and public health. The second segment will begin at noon and turn towards specific research projects that look at managing the pandemic and treating COVID-19 in new and novel ways.

This session will include comments from Dr. Anthony Fauci, who is one of the nation's leading experts in infectious disease, along with Dr. Clay Marsh, West Virginia's COVID-19 czar. The event will be moderated by Sally Hodder, MD, associate vice president of clinical and translational research at West Virginia University and director of WVCTSI.
