This is an educational talk for students who want to deepen their knowledge of community-engaged research and initiatives. In this session, you will learn about how WVU faculty are working to improve the lives of West Virginians through research, grants, and partnerships.

The speaker for this session is Emily Murphy. She is an Associate professor in the College of Physical Activity and Sports Science. Murphy served as an associate professor with Family and Community Development Program Unit within the WVU Extension Service and is currently the Principal Investigator on grants obtained from several federal agencies including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United States Department of Agriculture.
Space is very limited and pre-registration is required. This event will take place in person at the WVU Center for Service and Learning in Morgan House, located directly behind the Mountainlair Plaza. Masks required and social distancing protocols will be observed.
