LOCATION: THE MORGANTOWN MALL JCPENNEY CONCOURSE

Each volunteer will be working a 1hr shift. Please email hmlayman@mix.wvu.edu after registering to choose a time slot! If you are only donating blood you do not need to send an email.

ALL VOLUNTEER SPOTS ARE NOW FILLED> YOU CAN STILL REGISTER TO DONATE BLOOD AND STILL RECEIVE CREDIT!!!

VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED FOR THE FOLLOWING:

• Registration- Two Volunteers- One person to check donors in and one person to take temperatures 

• Canteen- One Volunteer- Manage the snack table and make sure donors are feeling well after they donate before they leave

• Donating Blood- If you are feeling well enough to donate blood, please make an appointment and please do a rapid pass the day of the drive to make your experience quicker. You can make an appointment to donate by going to https://www.redcrossblood.org/ and typing in the zip code.

To ensure safety we are taking the following measures at every blood drive:

• Any person entering the blood donation area, donating or volunteering, MUST have their temperature taken. If your temperature is above 99.5, you will not be allowed in the blood drive. 
• We ask ALL DONORS to please NOT bring anyone with you to the blood drive to ensure we do not have too many people in one place at one time.
• Everyone at the blood drive is required to wear masks.
• We are doing our best to keep everyone waiting at a safe distance from each other.
• Our staff are wiping all of our equipment down with commercial-grade sanitizing wipes after every use. 
• If a blood drive is fully booked with appointments, we will NOT be accepting walk-ins. However, we encourage you to stop in and see.
