This volunteer opportunity will take place in honor of MLK Jr. Day, and we will be accepting 12 volunteers to help out at the RDVIC located on the corner of Mileground Road and Hampton Avenue. All volunteers will sign a confidentiality report upon arrival.
Volunteers are required to attend the MLK Day Unity Breakfast at 8am that morning in the Mountainlair Ballroom and then will be guided to their workspace by a Group Leader. Registration begins at 7:30am in the Vandalia Lounge located inside the Mountainlair. Pre-service reflection will be held in the Gluck Theatre. (You will be prompted to exit the breakfast by a Group Leader and then led to theatre.)
Volunteers will be cleaning and helping organize at the main office plus any other miscellaneous tasks that need done.
Cecily Flight will be assisting with volunteer needs that morning. We ask that all volunteers wear WVU gear.
