The preparation day for the annual Rocky Habitat Restoration involves gathering dead and downed branches from designated areas of Cooper's Rock State Forest to create a 'material depot' that will be used on Sunday, 10/6 during the Rocky Habitat Restoration Project Event Day. Volunteers are asked to assist in the process while spending the afternoon in a beautiful area! Each volunteer will receive a Coopers Rock Foundation Trail map & sticker, a cold can of Lacroix, a Clif Bar, and access to group snacks!
Please arrive to the Outdoor Recreation Center on the Evansdale Campus no later than 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2nd. Transportation will be provided up to Coopers Rock. Please wear clothing appropriate for the day's weather, close toed shoes, and bring water and snacks! Coopers Rock will be provided light refreshments. Students will return to the Outdoor Rec Center around 7:00 p.m.
