The Office of Undergraduate Research is seeking graduate students to contribute to the SURE program workshop Graduate Life: The Real Story and Ice Cream Social (Thursday, June 13, 2019: National Resource Center for Coal & Energy, Room 101) as a service and resume building opportunity. Specifically, we are seeking graduates students to discuss academics, research experiences, duties, responsibilities, benefits, dealing with setbacks, and career potential in small discipline-specific group discussions. Graduate students will facilitate a group corresponding with their disciplinary background.
Free ice cream will be provided to all participants. In addition, the Office of Undergraduate Research will provide all graduate students with a professional thank you letter of the service rendered for inclusion on the student’s resume and/or career portfolio.
