Special Olympics West Virginia (SOWV) is pleased to announce the 2019 Summer Games will be held on May 31 – June 2 in Charleston. It is the commitment and enthusiasm of people just like you which gives our athletes the opportunity to compete and find joy through sports. We hope your schedule will allow you to volunteer at this fun event. If so, please indicate your desire to volunteer by completing and returning the Volunteer Application with a copy of a current photo id.
We ask that you return the Volunteer Application by May 15th. This allows us time to order volunteer shirts and schedule volunteers accordingly. Please be sure to include your availability in the spaces provided on the form. We will fill the volunteer positions with consideration of your preference. You will be sent a notification of your assigned schedule and registration information, which includes directions/map etc.
