On Saturday, October 13, Arthurdale Heritage is having its annual Fall Festival and Craft Show. This will be a fun day filled with great food, live music, a craft fair, kids and family activities and much more! You could work as docents in the museum, greeters, assist in the kids games, hayrides, paint faces, work in the kitchen or as a food runner, or help with general set up/clean up.
Helpers needed from 9-5. All shifts and positions are flexible! 4 hour shifts from 9-1 and 1-5 encouraged.
FREE meal ticket for four hour shifts and gas reimbursement available.
We are located about 15 miles away from WVU in Preston County. Arthurdale was the first federally planned community under the New Deal in order to help mitigate the effects of the Great Depression and help families with the most dire need. Everyday people, and volunteers like you, are how we are able to preserve and share this amazing history.
