The Rack will be hosting an on-campus Mobile Food Pantry in partnership with Mountaineer Food Bank for students, staff, and community members. The Mobile Food Pantry will be hosted on Prospect Street, the yellow space right in between the parking garage outside the Mountainlair and the Chemistry building.
The Rack will need volunteers to assist us in unloading the truck of food and placing it on tables in order to distribute it to users of The Rack. They will also manage the sign-in sheet as new users arrive.
We are asking that volunteers come to help set up at 10 am, and stay until 2 pm. If you can only attend for part of this time frame, you can email me at grace.kealey@mail.wvu.edu and let me know what hours work with your schedule.
We recommend that volunteers wear close-toed shoes and bring something to drink.
