Talking Publicly with Poet Maggie Anderson

April 4, 3:30pm

Milano Reading Room, WVU Downtown Campus Library

West Virginia based poet Maggie Anderson is the author of five books of poems, including her latest Dear All (2017), and has made outstanding contributions to the preservation of Appalachian culture through her writing. Join us for a reading by Anderson followed by a discussion about the role of poetry in contemporary society.

Arrive at 3pm, attend the event (there will be cupcakes!), take pictures, post on social media tagging the libraries, and hang around til 4:30 or 5 for 2 hours of volunteer time. If you bring a question to ask the poet that's great as well!
