Girls will learn all about the history at the Trans Allegheny Lunatic Asylum while earning the It's Your Story-Tell It Journey. We will be touring the Asylum, learning about healthy relationships, and providing community service to the Friends Auxiliary. Girls are also asked to please bring a new journal notebook to contribute to “Encouragement Kits” that are sent home with the patients upon their release.
Lunch will be provided. You must provide your own transportation to and from the event. Please also keep in mind the Asylum has no heat, so dress appropriately for the cold and weather.
