Description

This is an open-house work session on the quarter-mile segment of Scott Run Trail closest to McCollum Campground.  Work will consist of *moving gravel by bucket brigade from the parking lot to the trail to be used in top-coating the trail, and also of *digging drainage features along the trail using pick-mattocks, shovels, and garden rakes.

Tools and work gloves provided.  Spring water provided.  Halloween candy on-hand for a l'il jolt of chocolate when you need it!

Park at Reservoir Parking Lot, across from entrance to McCollum Campground.  Halfway between I-68 and Coopers Rock Overlook is parking lot on Right and campground entrance on Left.  Scott Run Trail begins to left of entrance road into campground, only 150' from parking lot.
