The Shack Neighborhood House is looking for help at our annual Duck Race Fundraiser. The Duck Race is a free event to support the Shack Neighborhood House and Connecting Link. The event will be held at the Edith Barill Riverfront Park in Star City on August 12th from 11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. (Volunteers should arrive at 10:30 a.m.) There are a multitude of stations that need to be manned and that is where we need your help! There will be crafts, a bounce house, games, face painting, and many more. We also need assistance with cleanup the following Monday, August 14th. Cleanup that Monday will involve a lot of heavy lifting and moving supplies such as tables, etc. that were needed for the event. Cleanup will take place at the Shack beginning at 9:30 a.m. and last a few hours until work is finished.
