WVU Tech’s Second Annual New Student Orientation Service Project is now accepting volunteer sign-ups for service projects to be completed on Tuesday, August 15.
In addition to student sign-ups, WVU Tech also invites faculty and staff to sign up for this event. As staff or faculty you may even be asked to lead one of the groups alongside an orientation leader!
Project information:
• Students will be divided into 15 groups of 10-15 students with each group having an orientation leader (upper-class student leader) and full-time WVU Tech staff member.
• All projects will be completed on August 15 between 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This includes travel times to and from the project site.
• All students will be provided with a t-shirt and be taught how to use the iServe system to track their hours.
• Transportation to project sites will be provided by WVU Tech.
