Description

From 1:00 until 6:00, volunteers will work first at/near the Day Use Parking Lot, which is 1/4 mile from the I-68 Exit, on your right, when driving toward The Overlook, and then later in the day we will drive across the I-68 overpass, turn left, drive 1/4 mile, and work on trails at Trout Pond (Trout Pond is visible from I-68).

At/near Day Use Lot, work will include moving gravel with buckets and wheelbarrows to topcoat trails, and digging dips in trails to improve drainage.  At Trout Pond, we'll working with rocks and gravel to improve Glade Run Trail and to construct a new access spot for anglers out of very large rocks.

Look for a blue pickup truck with rakes and shovels in the back of it.

Inclement Weather Plan: We'll work in bad weather, and in the rain, but NOT in a thunderstorm! We'll be close enough to our vehicles that we can take shelter in them if a sudden storm rumbles through. At Trout Pond, there is a pavilion.
