The Blue and Gold Mine Sale makes it easy for students to help the local community, and all proceeds go to the United Way of Monongalia and Preston Counties annual campaign.
It reduces the amount of waste the University puts into the landfill.
Volunteers help with all aspects of the sale from serving as runners, moving furniture, assisting with parking, serving as a cashier helper, etc.
Volunteers also receive lunch on the day of the sale and are eligible to shop at a volunteer only pre-sale.
