Volunteers from across the country will unite for Make A Difference Day, one of the largest annual days of service nationwide.
Join the Mountaineer Maniacs on Sunday, October 23rd for their 1st Annual feature project on Make a Difference Day, as they get out and show the community why their new motto is "Be the Difference"!
All WVU Students, Faculty, Staff, and Alumni are welcome and encouraged to participate!
Volunteers will meet on the Mountainlair Green at 2pm for registration.
At 3pm, Team Leaders from the Mountaineer Maniacs will take their team and depart for beautification projects across the Morgantown area!
Please remember to wear close-toed shoes and weather-friendly clothing (project is "rain or shine" unless weather conditions are severe) and make sure you are hydrated and well-fed prior to arrival!
The Mountain Line Blue & Gold Connector bus will be running every 20-25 minutes Sunday from Evansdale to the Mountainlair between 12pm and 9pm if students need transport to the Lair or to their clean-up sits. Click here for more information.
NOTE: Make A Difference Day is celebrated nationwide on 10/22, but will take place on Sunday, 10/23/16 at WVU due to the home football game on Saturday.
