VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Free Community Tax Service
Volunteers are needed to help people in your community prepare their tax returns in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program, sponsored by North Central WV EITC Coalition and North Central WV Community Action Agency. Volunteer Tax Assistors provide free, basic income tax preparation services to community members who are low to moderate income families and individuals. The program will run from Nov 2017 for training until end of tax season April 15, 2018
Volunteers are also needed to assist the Program in other ways. Some may serve as a “meeter/greeter” at a tax site, while others may do publicity for a site. If you would like to help, the North Central WV EITC Coalition would appreciate your help and support of the program. There is a position for you, and the opportunity to make a difference in an individual or family’s well-being.
Receive your training at no cost via the IRS Link & Learn internet based program (linklearncertification.com) or join us in the classroom. All resources needed to do taxes are supplied.
