On September 11, we're doing something big - and we'd love to have you there.
New Vision is preparing the land for the Girls Village, a home where young women aging out of foster care can belong, contribute, and flourish. We're in the early stages of clearing and beautifying the property, and we need your hands, your heart, and your presence to help us get started.
Here's what we're doing:
We're spending the day preparing the Girls Village property - clearing, planting, building, and blessing the land. New Vision staff will have equipment on-site, so your volunteer support will be focused on the details that matter: the landscaping, the flower planters, the care that transforms a piece of land into a home. Lunch will be provided at noon Then we'll gather for a blessing ceremony, and work till 4 pm.
At 5 pm we share a meal, and celebrate the day at our Boys Village at 58 frost run rd. Moatsville we will have a BBQ, where you'll see firsthand the community we're building.
You don't have to stay for the whole day. Come for the morning. Come for the ceremony. Come for the dinner. However much you want to volunteer, it counts! All volunteers welcome. No experience needed.
