Our 6th annual Veterans Bash will take place on October 3rd at Mylan Park. This year, we are going to bring the volunteers in at 9 am. The doors will open at 11 am, and the main drawings will start at 1 pm. The bash is also an event where multiple raffles will be going on at the same time. Some volunteers will be responsible for restocking items, while the majority will be on the floor selling chances for various games throughout the event. We bring everyone in early so that all volunteers receive clear direction and can ask any questions they may have about their assigned tasks. The event will be catered, so the only tasks are to refill the coffee pots, drink bins, and snacks. All food and drink are provided for volunteers. Volunteers are also welcome to work as many hours as they like, because the bash goes until 6 pm. We don't expect everyone to work the entire day; we prefer that the volunteers do at least 4 hours. If some volunteers would prefer to come in the afternoon, we can accommodate them as well.
