Volunteer to make a meaningful difference for residents in and around Lewis County, WV recovering from the recent flood.
Lewis County Mutual Aid is looking for volunteers to work at the distribution center at Market Place Mall, Weston (284 Market Place Mall, Weston, WV).
Volunteers are helping to intake and sort donations, greet people, share resources and encourage folks to fill out the FEMA survey.
Hours are 9 am - 5 pm daily with the exception of Sunday when they are closed. You do not need to be able to stay for the entirety of a shift to volunteer.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Please sign in when you arrive. If you need help, look for someone in an orange vest.
- Please take a photo (do not include other people in the photo to respect privacy) while there and email to whitney.glotfelty@mail.wvu.edu to confirm your volunteer efforts. (This will reduce the load on their group when approving iServe hours.)
