We are looking for a few volunteers to help with the Morgantown Crankie Festival (May 30–31 at the Monongalia Arts Center)!
Ways to get involved:
- Flyering around Morgantown in the weeks leading up to the festival
- Welcoming and guiding audience members during the shows (7 pm, May 30 and/or 4 pm and 7 pm May 31)
- Manning the merch table to help sell artists' merch and keep it safe
- Helping turn crankies (the hand-cranked scrolls used during performances: no experience needed, just a quick run-through the day-of with the crankie artist)
It’s a fun, low-key way to be part of a unique arts event bringing together music, storytelling, and visual art. Volunteers will get a behind-the-scenes look at the performances and be part of a really special community gathering.
