Role Summary
We are seeking a creative and motivated Graphic Design/Social Media Volunteer to support our outreach efforts. This volunteer will help create visually engaging content that highlights our mission, celebrates our volunteers, and increases awareness of our programs within the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Design graphics for social media, newsletters, recruitment, and special campaigns
- Assist with maintaining a consistent visual brand across platforms
- Create short-form content such as posts, stories, banners, and promotional materials
- Collaborate with the Volunteer Coordinator to identify storytelling opportunities
- Help schedule and post approved content (optional based on comfort level)
Ideal Candidate
- Basic experience with design tools (Canva, Adobe Express, Photoshop, or similar)
- Strong eye for visual design and branding
- Comfortable creating content for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Reliable, collaborative, and able to meet simple deadlines
- Passionate about supporting our mission and sharing impactful stories
Time Commitment
Flexible and remote-friendly. Approximately 2–5 hours per month, depending on current projects and campaigns.
