We are currently seeking volunteer counselors to join us from June 13–19th, 2026. Camp is held at Cedar Lakes in Ripley, WV. Counselors work closely with campers throughout the week, offering supervision, encouragement, and assistance as needed. No prior experience with spina bifida is required—training and support are provided. Saturday is a full training day prior to the campers' arrival. What matters most is a positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to engage.
This opportunity is especially meaningful for students interested in:
-Healthcare and allied health professions
-Education and special education
-Social work, psychology, or counseling
-Public health or community service
Volunteers gain hands-on experience, develop leadership skills, and make a real difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities all while being part of an unforgettable camp experience.
