The SciTech Education Resource Center at Fairmont State Univerersity manages a wide range of competitive STEM programs, but none are bigger than the VEX Robotics State Championship series March 8 - 17th, and WE REALLY NEED VOLUNTEERS!
Not only will you be able to share your passion for STEM with these young minds, I promise that you’ll be blown away, and frankly YOU will be inspired by their creative problem solving skills, grit, and how much fun they have learning programming and engineering.
If you can commit one day, please sign up for the:
- Middle School V5 Championship on Tuesday March 10 OR the
- Middle School VEX IQ Championship on Thursday, March 12.
If you can give two days, we humbly request you volunteer for the:
- High School V5 Championship on Sunday, March 8 – Monday, March 9 or the
- Elementary VEX IQ Championship on Friday March 13 – Saturday, March 14.
If you only have a few hours and want a free CrossFit workout, we’d love your help loading, unloading, and setting up/breaking down the tournaments on
- Saturday 3/6,
- Wednesday 3/11, and/or
- Sunday 3/15.
