You may wonder, What is a Ramp Dinner?
A ramp dinner is a traditional Appalachian meal that celebrates ramps, a type of wild onion with a strong, garlicky flavor that grows in the eastern United States in early spring. Our ramps are even harvested from right here in our own park!
