Join us for the annual Mountain State Disability Conference, a vital event dedicated to promoting awareness, training, and support for individuals with disabilities across the state. This conference offers a dynamic platform for education, networking, and advocacy, featuring keynote speakers, informative workshops, resource exhibits, and community engagement activities.
About the Event:
Date & Location: September 17-20, at Waterfront Hotel, in Morgantown, WV
Volunteer Opportunities:
We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help make this event a success. Whether you have a few hours or can commit to multiple shifts, your support is invaluable. Roles include, but are not limited to:
- Registration & Welcome Desk: Greeting attendees, distributing materials, and providing information.
- Workshop Assistance: Supporting session facilitators, managing equipment, and assisting participants.
- Accessibility Support: Ensuring accommodations are in place, guiding attendees with mobility or communication needs.
- Event Logistics & Setup: Assisting with venue setup, signage, and breakdown.
- Resource Fair Support: Managing booths, providing information, and engaging with exhibitors
- Run and Roll: Help with registration, water and snack stations along the route, signage, and more on 19th and 20th
Flexible Hours & Points of Help:
We understand busy schedules and offer flexible volunteer shifts to accommodate your availability. You can choose to assist during morning, afternoon, or evening sessions, or commit to multiple points of help across different days or event segments.
