The Monongalia County Child Advocacy Center (MCCAC) is seeking volunteers to assist with an indoor deep cleaning event. This effort is crucial in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and sanitary environment for the children and families we serve. Your participation will help us ensure that our center remains a space of comfort and care.
Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities
As a volunteer for the indoor deep clean, you will be involved in various tasks to help spruce up the MCCAC facilities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Cleaning and Sanitizing
- Thoroughly clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, including doorknobs, light switches, and countertops. Sanitize toys and playroom equipment used by children.
- Organizing and Tidying
- Assist in organizing storage areas and office spaces. Help declutter common areas to ensure a neat and orderly environment.
- Detail Work
- Dust and polish furniture, blinds, and other surfaces. Vacuum and mop floors throughout the facility.
