Join us on Saturday, April 19, 2025, as a volunteer for our Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Mason-Dixon Historical Park! This is a free public event for kids, featuring crafts, games, pictures with the Easter Bunny and Teeter Tooter the Otter (our park mascot), bounces houses, food trucks and concessions, and an exciting egg hunt.
Event Details:
- Location: Mason-Dixon Historical Park
- Volunteer Time: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Event Begins: 12:00 PM (crafts, games, and photos ops)
- Egg Hunt Starts: 1:30 PM (separated by age groups)
Volunteer Duties May Include:
- Spreading out eggs based on attendance for each age group
- Assisting guests in finding their correct egg hunt areas
- Helping with crafts and games (be involved, the kids have more fun that way!)
- Setting up and taking down event materials
- Operating bounce houses throughout the event
- General event support as needed
- Cleaning park facilities after the egg hunt concludes (this includes putting away tables, chairs, sweeping, mopping, kitchen clean up and trash removal
- Two volunteers needed to wear the easter bunny costume and teeter totter the otter costume
Additional Information:
- This event takes place primarily outdoors; please dress appropriately
- Wear family-friendly attire suitable for working with children
- Volunteers ARE NOT to participate in the egg hunt
