The creation of a thousand forests is in one acorn.

Celebrate our first Tiny Forest and Pollinator Garden at WVU Falling Run!
On November 15th from 9am to 12pm our partner, FirstEnergy, has generously donated native wildflower seed.
Everyone is welcome here.
Restoring natural habitat is one of our most rewarding missions at Falling Run. You get hands on experience while reconnecting with your natural environment. It's physical work, but good exercise. And it's much appreciated by Falling Run.
When you sign up for one of our Falling Run programs, you’ll get a request for our optional survey on the day you selected.
The survey has two parts: pre-program (10 minutes) where it’s done before volunteer work starts; and post-program, (10 minutes) where it’s done after volunteer work ends. Volunteers need to complete both at Falling Run during their 3-hour program.
Students 18 years of age or older can assist in our research project about participating in short-term service-learning volunteering in outdoor environmental stewardship programs at WVU Falling Run.
It's physical work, but good exercise. And it's much appreciated by Falling Run visitors and the native wildlife.
Free snacks and drinks. Bring a friend if you can.
