WVU Extension is partnering with Edventure, Shepherd University, and the WV Department of Education on the 2025 "Youth Innovation in Action Day" at the Bridging Innovation Conference. We are seeking volunteers to coach/work with small teams of youth participants during the event. The event will be held on May 1st, 2025 in Shepherdstown, WV from 10:00am-2:30pm. Travel support is available for student volunteers and lunch is provided.
Volunteers would need to depart Morgantown at 7:15am on Thursday May 1st and would depart Shepherdstown at 2:30pm (arriving in Morgantown at approximately 5:00pm. This single day of volunteerism will result in a total of roughly 10 hours of service that can contribute to required volunteer hours, experiential learning hours, or internship hours with permission from supervising faculty.
